Benzoin Essential Oil is the balsamic resin from benzoin (a small tree).

Benzoin is a fixative. Used as a natural preservative in creams, it's also comforting, uplifting and warming as a muscle ease massage - especially when a 'pick me up' is needed. Useful as a steam inhalant, especially in winter. It soothes cracked skin and is excellent for use in gardening handcreams. In colder months Benzoin will require gentle warming before use.
Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.
