Grapefruit Seed Extract is thought to have natural antibacterial properties.

It can make a good mouthwash - dilute 4-5 drops in a cup of boiled water that has been allowed to cool and gargle.
You can also add it to a base shampoo or conditioner (along with other essential oils if desired) to combat dandruff. Always use Grapefruit Seed very well diluted especially if you plan to use it in a skincare preparation.
Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.
