Joni was a very brave fighter, battling Ewing's Sarcoma for over 4 years, she endured countless rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and trial treatments, with added supplementation and alternative therapies. She was strong and brave the whole way along, but sadly, we had to say goodnight to her on September 6th  2015. After a brave and courageous fight right until the very end, she got tired and fell asleep at only 9 years old.

In her honour, we started a Joni's Army to help children and young people, who, like Joni, have to smile in the face of adversity.  As Joni's Army, we strive to give life altering gifts  of equipment and medical goods to the children who need them most and help others recieve treatments to better their quality of life; we know first hand, how much these things mean to the little people.

Through organising events and taking part in challenges, we aim to raise money to help children who suffer life limiting and life threatening illnesses receive equipment and treatments that do not fall within the NHS umbrella.
